The Township of Whitewater Region is located in Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.

Situated in the Ottawa Valley, it incorporates the communities of Beachburg, Cobden, Forester’s Falls, Haley Station, LaPasse and Westmeath.

The Township is found along the Ottawa River that is not only renowned as the major waterway between the St. Lawrence River and Lake Temiskaming (Temiskaming Waterway) but it is considered a world class river for whitewater rafting and kayaking.

Besides being legendary for its superior agricultural land and whitewater rafting, the area boasts of a natural beauty drawing visitors from near and far. Picture swirling clear water cascading over jagged rocks, fields of corn swaying in the wind, a newborn calf sleeping in the afternoon sun beside its mother, tall trees reflecting in the tranquil surface of a lake or hues of pink and blue painting the evening sky as the sun sets in the horizon.

Come and experience our natural beauty! For further information about the Township of Whitewater Region and the Ottawa Valley, visit the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association’s website.
