Whether you are interested in team sports such as hockey and ringette or you enjoy skating during your leisure time, the Township of Whitewater Region has several excellent facilities offering these fall and winter activities. The enclosed arenas in Beachburg, Cobden and Westmeath provide indoor ice surfaces, with hall rental available at the Cobden and Westmeath locations. Outdoor skating rinks can be found in Forester’s Falls, Haley Station and on the Queen’s Line.

Most communities within Whitewater Region each have their own Recreation Association, consisting of volunteers, that is responsible for the facility’s operation and the activities offered.
