25th Anniversary



The Township of Whitewater Region was officially incorporated in 2001 through the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Cobden, Beachburg, Westmeath, and Ross. This milestone marked the beginning of a unified governance structure aimed at enhancing service delivery, community development, and regional identity. Over the past 25 years, the Township has evolved into a vibrant and resilient community, with a strong focus on partnerships, infrastructure, and cultural enrichment.


Register a Table for the Community Connections Fair

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Whitewater Region, we are hosting a Community Connections Fair on August 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event will include a Volunteer Fair designed to raise awareness of local volunteer groups, encourage sign-ups, and help organizations promote their programs and upcoming events.
