The Township of Whitewater Region was officially incorporated in 2001 through the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Cobden, Beachburg, Westmeath, and Ross. This milestone marked the beginning of a unified governance structure aimed at enhancing service delivery, community development, and regional identity. The final logo will be used across all promotional materials and events for the anniversary year.
