County Road 7 (Foresters Falls Road) Rehabilitation

Project Description

Township of Whitewater Region has partnered with the County of Renfrew for the rehabilitation of County Road 7 (Foresters Falls Road) within the urban section of Forester Falls.

The scope of work that is being completed by the County includes the following:

  • Replacement of the concrete curbs;
  • Installation of sub drains under the curbs;
  • Replacement of the catch basin and maintenance hole frames and grates;
  • Replacement of the roadway asphalt.

The Township will be replacing the some of the existing sidewalks and installing a 3.0m asphalt multi-use pathway (MUP).  As shown in the key map below, the MUP will switch sides of Foresters Falls Road at Howard Street due to existing Hydro One poles.  A pedestrian crossover (PXO) will be installed to allow pedestrians to safely cross the road to the MUP.

Greenwood Paving will be starting construction Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022, with completion this fall.
