Planned Water Outage - Water System Repair in the Village of Cobden – February 9, 2026

Please be advised that the Township of Whitewater Region, in partnership with the Ontario Clean Waste Agency (OCWA), will be completing planned repairs to a faulty water valve on Gould Street on the evening of February 9, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.  During this time, properties on the streets listed below may experience minimal water pressure during the repair window.

Low Water Pressure is expected at the following properties:

All properties south of Main Street:

  • Main St.
  • Gould St.
  • Dixon
  • Creamery Rd.
  • Astrolabe Rd.
  • West side of Pembroke St.
  • Crawford St.
  • John St.
  • Jason St.
  • Bromley St.
  • Simpson St.

After the repair is completed, you may experience discoloured water as the system is repressurized.  If this occurs, please run your cold water taps for at least 5 minutes until the water runs clear.
