Celebrating The Eganville Leader

The Bromley Historical Society invites the public to come and celebrate The Eganville Leader on Sunday, September 13 at 2 p.m. in the Old Town Hall, 498 Micksburg Road, Osceola. The presentation will feature past and present journalists who will recount their memories of the paper. Founded in 1902 by Patrick McHugh, The Leader, Gerald Tracey and his brother Ron were at the helm of the weekly for more than 50 years. Thanks to an agreement last winter, the paper will continue to capture current and past local stories. The talk is open and free to the public. Light refreshments will be served following the event.
